Topographia: Mapping Children’s Art

A new temporary exhibition has opened at the premises of the Museum of the National Centre for Aesthetics. The exhibition entitled: “TopoGraphia” is featuring paintings and sculptures created in recent years by the Yerevan and regional subdivisions’ students. This exhibition is the NCA’s topographic map. Through children’s art the study of the roads stretching from Yerevan to Meghri, Goris, Sevan, Vanadzor, and Gyumri is presented in the museum. As part of the exhibition, thematic professional “round tables” will be held. The teaching methods in the art education field, the psychological specificities of working with children, and international experience will be discussed. In the meantime, the NCA’s five regional subdivisions’ specialists will present the summary of their work done during this year. “TopoGraphia” is an amazing platform for the NCA’s specialists and students to introduce themselves and share experiences. The exhibition will be held until August 20.
