The Metro Theater was found in 1992. Its repertoire includes spectacles both for children and adults. Cheerful, full of music, sensuous performances always receive highly positive opinion by art critics and warm welcomed by the audience. Artists from children’s theater-studio are well known not only in Armenia but also abroad.
The studio frequently participates in various festivals, stage shows, TV projects and some of its artists act in different movies as well. During the whole history of the theater the stage plays included: Panilov’s “The Topaz”, Kocharyan’s “The Guest”, Kalinovski’s “The Beast on the Moon”, Monier’s “Paris is a Dangerous City”, Konstantinov’s “Diogenes”, Sartre’s “Time to Gather the Stones” as well as “Hey jan Chachastan!” based on the tales of Toumanyan.
